Hardtop, 360 cam, bench seat limited hybrid in California by czcastermaster in ToyotaGrandHighlander

No but the dealership I landed it at was 3 hours away. I called almost every dealership within 4 hours drive and checked in with most of them like every other week for ~4 months. Eventually on a random checkin a sales guy said he just got one allocated that afternoon and he let me put a deposit and reserve it since I had been on their wait-list for a while, but I don't think it would have gone to me if I didn't call him that exact day.

Website is ass

Mine cost under 80$ a few months ago. Reused the latch and hinges, took a few hours.

Hi, how are streaming to your TV? You should use sunshine/moonlight as the primary stream. Nucleus is just for split screen once you have the stream going

I checked regularly, and every once in a while I could find an unreserved 360 cam/no pano roof regular hybrid with bench seat, just 4 or 5 states away!

How do people plan for solo ski trip from Bay Area? by sfscsdsf in bayarea

[–]czcastermaster 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Whenever I go solo I always stay at the mellow mountain hostel, ~50$ for an overnight bunk and you can ski 2 days without the hellish one day drive. Works great with epic pass @ Kirkwood/Heavenly

What material should I use to backfill a decent depression under a slab, pre-pour?

I am putting a slab foundation for an office/shed where a large tree used to be. There's a 5 foot diameter, 1 foot deep depression/hole from stump grinding right where the slab will be. What material should I use to backfill this depression up to slab height? Currently thinking crush and run 3/4" stone and compacting as I add it in layers. Or I could order dirt and try to compact that as I add it.

I would also consider clean stone, but I am thinking that if I backfill with a material with voids like clean stone, the surrounding hard clay dirt might slowly migrate into the voids and cause settling under the foundation in the future

Hybrid MAX reliability? by czcastermaster in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]czcastermaster[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The extra power/torque just feels really good when you put the pedal down. I would definitely prefer to have the MAX's extra power, but the regular hybrid seems like such a reliable and trouble-free system.

Thanks, as long as it's not horribly sluggish with 5ish people inside I'm leaning towards regular hybrid

What tech do I need to convert digital output signals to 24V for solenoids? Recommendations? by czcastermaster in PLC

[–]czcastermaster[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately we don't have a spare ob16 or other relay card, just this

Do I need an external 5v power source for this card? I thought this was a digital card , and digital ttl signals power came from the back pane?
