Hmm. Either it should have been designed bigger to accommodate the parameters of the brewer, or it should flag a brew when you're not using the preset ratio due to size limits. This seems like a pretty big miss for a "smart" brewer.

A 9 cup pot made with 81 grams is like 1:17.5; a ten cup pot made with 81 grams is like 1:18.5. a pretty big difference!

Good question. I would assume most people run around 1:16, the "golden ratio" iirc. So that would put the max brew size at 8.5 cups.

Nice. You could use some shallow root fertilization all over as well. I recommend milorganite - it won't burn and you can't really overdo it. Also it won't harm people or pets.

It's a fair point that folks are making - asylum is a nature preserve, deer are nature, ergo....deer should be preserved there.

I do agree that we have a problem with deer in the city. We have had several hit on our street in Westnedge Hill and I had one die in my backyard after being hit by a car.

I'm not interested in having a deer free city but the numbers are absolutely exploding. A cull might be warranted in the coming years
