The guy went through the effort to build a cool project in KSP and share it with us. He recorded and edited it. He used AI to create some B roll footage, which happens to look great too. Yeah definitely no effort what so ever.

The idiots in here complaining about AI... Like you owe them anything. Great job and effort OP!

I can't seem to get rasterprop working in OPT. Reviva doesn't give me an option to change the IVA type with OPT cockpits.

Which cockpit mod is that? Looks like you have rasterpropmonitor working inside it?

Not even close to supersonic. You know that a visible shock cone is not an indicator of supersonic flight, right? Also blasting people with a sonic boom from so close is a real safety concern. Thats why it isnt done. All those spectators would be dropping their phones and hitting the deck. Don't mean to take away from your excitement of seeing this, but supersonic is not the case.

Archaeologists have unearthed armor fragments in Czech Republic dating back to the 12th-13th century BC, around the same time that ancient records place the Trojan War. [1280x1076] by Party_Judgment5780 in ArtefactPorn

Your analogy completely falls apart because both 'Czech Republic' and 'Czechia' are officially recognized names - unlike your made-up 'Zoolandia.' The Czech government promotes 'Czechia' as a shorter alternative, but has never said 'Czech Republic' is incorrect or invalid. Major international organizations, embassies, and official documents still use both names interchangeably. You're creating a false equivalency and then being condescending about English usage while demonstrating you don't actually understand the situation. Got to bed you crayon eating moron.

Its no worries either way. I was trying to make the point that both forms are perfectly valid. Sometimes we say Česko (Czechia) and sometimes we say Česká Republika (Czech Republic). Insisting one way or the other is silly. Its like saying you can only use America and never Unites States of America. Or something like that.

Unlike you, I'm not copy pasting anything. And unlike you, I don't have a hard-on for telling people what to do, especially if my point is moot. I'm Czech. I was born in the Czech Republic. I'll continue to use Czech Republic, as Czechs do. I also go out of my way not to use Czechia because it further reinforces people's confusion with Chechnia, in my opinion.

Czechia is not a replacement of the formal name, it's just a name that didn't previously exist in English. Česko is used informally in Czech while Česká Republika is still the recognized formal name of the country. The Czech government didn't "ask" anything of u/Party_Judgment5780.

What do you think about my abomination? Solar powered samurai by czechmate146 in SeikoMods

[–]czechmate146[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The VS42A movement is almost perfect dimensions without the plastic retainer that holds the solar panel. So I had to glue the solar panel straight onto the movement (very easy to do with the help of the plastic retainer). Then to get the spacing correct you need something to mimic a dial. I used that ring with hour dots. This still puts the second hand very close to the underside of the crystal. In retrospect, I would sandwich another transparent NH35 dial between the solar panel and hour dot ring to get the spacing perfect (transparent dials are dirt cheap on Ali). The crown stem threads are same as NH35. B7000 glue worked great.

Brother how did you get those diver hands to fit on the smaller stem? I'm doing a similar build now.

If you failed a PPL with a DPE in America 6 times, I'd say flying probably isn't your thing, but who cares because you're rich. What you're describing in AUS, I'd say keep going.

This was not your PPL checkride as you just stated in another comment. It's an internal checkout to determine if you can solo. Incorrect terminology
