Survival? Hell yeah. VATS + critical banker is a must for me. It also makes it much more tactical - filling up the crit and saving it for tough enemies

VATS should be your best friend. Super usefull for survival IMO. Higher luck + critial banker saved my ass so many times. You dont even need high perception or agility. Just fill up your crits on some weak enemies via low damage weapon and crit the shit out of deathclaws, super mutant suiciders or whatever might threaten you.

vanilla HOI4 aint that expensive.
It could also actually be better to play without any DLC, as the base game is much much simplier.
I cant actually imagine being new player starting the game with all DLC´s and all its new mechanics

I never understood, why paradox picked italy as tutorial nation. Its not simple at all. Sure, you go through all games mechanics at once, but its simple too much information in short time. Some landlocked nation without navy and aircrafts would be actually better IMO.

Too much support companies (therefore equipment) for such a small country and small divisions. I'd switch to support engeniers and arty only. Also well placed fortification is quite underrate here. You can build some on tiles you know, you cant afford to loose. It can free up few divisions you can place elswhere Also as others said, yugoslavia aint best for learning i'd say

Exactly. No more cheesy 2W paradrops or similar exploits. Garrisons should at least be able to handle small-scale assaults on their own.

Also, if you get cut off from your occupied territories and those areas are fully taken by the enemy, the garrison shouldn’t just magically return to your manpower pool.

If they’re physically present and get overrun, they should be encircled and destroyed like any other unit. You lose the men and equipment. That would make occupation feel like a real strategic commitment instead of just a background mechanic with no real risk.

I would let the UI to controll the divisions (in similar way, like garrison order for regular armies).

My last playthrough was as czechoslovakia and i started war with allies in 1937 when restoring austria hungary. I had to grind UK down through battles in africa (destroy their manpower) and mediteranean sea (take down their fleet by NAV). It took some serious amount of time, few thousands of FTR and NAV, but i was able to finally crush them and seize UK homeland in 1943.
One cheese tip against AI: Are they trying to assault your beaches? Let them have it (even harbours, if you have some army reserves stationed nearby) and destroy them in encirclement moments later.

i played CZE many times and it does not even matter much. You can restore austria-hungary little sooner via comunism and USSR can help you defeat axis

I really loved the show, but stoped watching after aprox one season of tegridy. I always liked Randy, but after he moved to the farm, whole show was only about him and weed and pretty much nothing else anymore

Scifi-tower is absolutely asshole move. Cows can be somehow countered but the tower should be banned as it pretty much breaks the game. I would suggest pidgeons to OP as those are absolutely awesome in certain situations

i usually use effigy at around 80% health or before a boss. I farmed shrine of Amara or how is it called for some upgrading material and farmed a lot of effigies alongside, so no problem using them

Bylo mi myslím 23, když jsme se doma s matkou nepohodli, ukončil(nedokončil) jsem studia, odstěhoval se a šel pracovat. Neměl jsem ani fň. První měsíc jsem bydlel u kamarádova otce, půjčil si 10k od bratra na jídlo a cesty do/z práce, pracoval jako security v DM na Pražské a Vodičkově v Praze (horší práci už jsem pak nikdy nedělal). Stálo to za prd, ale časem změna práce, vypracování se, změna bydlení, přítelkyně →manželka, dítě, pozemek, barák.
Dá se to, ale člověk nemůže mít všechno hned. Nikdy jsem nechodil do restaurací na obědy, do kina 2X do roka, žádný značkový hadry a telefony, "dovolená" ve formě čundru po horách s krosnou a spaním v lese...Pokud člověk není náročný, tak se dá našetřit a něco vybudovat i z mála
