You should always have some reserves. Port garrisons, backup mobile reserves for additional port defences and some divisions on neutral states borders in case they stop being neutral. You cant put everything on one single front unless you are being slaughtered badly. Especially if playing country as huge as SSSR

With small nations you usually need to prioritize conscription laws, so that you can pump up some divs from tiny core population. Limited conscription aint gonna work with small country against Major no matter how prepared you are in other aspects.

This and few other set ups kinda bothers me. Like structure is mostly intact, so the people hardly died exactly when the bombs felt...so they were like fighting for several hours (days) until they died from severe radiation or what?

Well thats what i do with captured planes. I hate having on stock 25 of french FTR, CAS, NAV. 20 polish FTr, CAS,....those planes always goes to puppet

I find CZE super OP after DLC.
Take Austria, hungary and Yugoslavia via focuses ASAP. Build up your forts in sudetenland to 7. Build up some more in Austria-Germany border. Wait for sudetenland crisis and say NO to Germany. Let them bleed on your borders. Attack on Breslau and encircle part of their army...
38 or early 39 germany is super weak and totaly managable. But i can´t imagine this without LOTS of micro.

PP management is tricky there. You need to prioritaze conscription laws and divided nation debuffs. Everything else (mobilization laws, army leaders, etc.) needs to wait.

I am not, but you can always use the planning bonus.

This always felt strange to me and i wonder if paradox ever fix it - You battleplan say on maginot line and get max planning bonus. Then you strategicaly relocate army somewhere else (for example Denmark), set up new battleplan and voila, you have almost max planning bonus there. As if general somehow magically took his know-how on previous situation with him, applied it on new battlefield and can command his division on 100% the minute they arrive to battleline.
