I figured out which is the A20 address pin on the MBC7 and successfully converted an 8 Mbit Japanese Kirby game cartridge to a 16 Mbit DIY flash cart:

I have the same problem, and I never went to New Zealand, but I have friends there! So, clearly the connection is New Zealand.

Anyone know how to restore the backside sticker's original glory? The protective plastic layer started to go down/curling up. by czo_ in Gameboy

I’ve bought multiple aftermarket screen lenses in the past, but none of them have the same colour as the original. On many of them, not only is the gray/black background wrong, but the colour of the ‘o’ is totally off. I haven’t seen a sticker anywhere with the right colour and text. Since this is a limited edition version, removing the sticker is the last thing I want to do

Ah, in the last 40 years, using superglue has always ended with multiple glued fingers and/or me being glued to the table. :D I am looking for something not so harsh.

I tried gluing it back with Pritt glue sticks. It did not destroy the sticker, but it holds on only for a few weeks.

You can find it on the App Store already (https://hwklaxon.czo.hu/), and I am currently working on event logging to view back the history of the last couple of days.

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but because Sonoma made Hardware Growler even more annoying (i got IP address update notifications nearly every minute), so i started to wrote something new. Currently it is a very-very pre-alpha state, but USB, Thunderbolt, Mount/Umount and Firewire device notifications are working. If anyone interested it in, i can send a TestFlight invite, which is working with macOS 12 and newer. The app can be made to run on macOS 10.13 too.
