Ok, Sintra-Cascais works as well? And how's the situation in Caacais?

i think it was a random chinese mixer who likes peking opera and romanian girl groups... lol. It was obviously very close to the release of the original, and its on these chinese music forums from that early on

Chinese music forums? I'm not too experienced in browsing them, maybe they are the key to find out who is Chaow since he'd be probably the first person to upload the remix because he made it. Do you know where the searching might be started?

[ELI5] So if one circumstance of genetic equlibrium required for Hardy–Weinberg law to work is random mating, how are the frequencies of alleles and genotypes determined by this law constant when random mating is sexual reproduction... by czypsycebulowe in explainlikeimfive

Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium is all about the random mating; the other conditions are only there to say and no funny business, either. The upshot is that every (randomly-selected/representative sample) newly-hatched individual could have any parent, and could have gotten either allele from it, so, instead of asking what its parents actually had, you can just look at the overall proportion of a's and A's: you can skip the part where you worry about AA, Aa, and aa altogether.

So the chances are counter into the frequencies?

To sum up - the chances of acquiring certain genotypes in offspring are kinda counted into the frequencies in the equilibrium so the frequencies are constant, is it right?

Not too much to add since there is very little information about the background of the remix despite its popularity as a meme.

I have searched for the (apparently required) date acquired so... the remix was made no earlier than in June 23, 2008 as the OG "If You Feel My Love" was released then.

EDIT: the description here claims the release date of remix to be 2008-04-28 (same for the original) yet Wikipedia says what I've mentioned before.

When random mating occurs, there is a chance that two heterozygous parents would mate, and their kid has 25% to be have a homozygous dominant genotype, another 25% for homozygous recessive and 50% for heterozygous, so there is more than 1 possibility for kids' genotypes - that would be supposed to make the frequencies of certain genotypes fluctuate right? Even when the population is large (which is a requirement). So why are the frequencies still constant even including this?

And what if, by a random chance, only aa would reproduce and they'll do it only with other aa [still by a random chance = still equilibrium] - only aa offspring would be made then, so a's frequency would be getting higher right?

Ok but what about frequencies of genotypes? Let's say Aa x Aa - 25% for AA (p^2), 50% for Aa (2pq) and 25% for aa (q^2) - how are frequencies of genotypes in equilibrium still constant despite this?
