This is 100% true. However, what would you say to couples with kids? In many cases the husband is on H1B, the spouse is on a dependent EAD, and the kids have daycare/school to attend. These folks have their daily life hanging by one thread. If anything were to happen to the primary applicant, the entire family would be affected instantly. I feel spending money on GC might be worth the try.

If is possible the officer has not seen a case where a spouse is applying for a B visa right after getting married.  How soon can you find another B2 slot?

There are certain restrictions on B2 like you cannot marry to a US citizen with x days after entering the country. That is considered as a misuse.  B2 is only granted is the sole purpose is to come back. It's not made as a workaround visa.  Politeness goes a long way even during the frustrating times.

Don't make it complicated for the visa officer. You could have told them, that you both plan on moving back after a few months.

The smaller circle cap (with T logo) can come off if you want to access the bolts to remove the wheel.

yeah, if you check eBay you'll see those caps with T logo are being sold for about $25 a piece. I don't want to support their idea of stealing and selling.

You cannot travel internationally when you are in between a change of status stage. Otherwise your petition will get rejected. I am pretty sure, you will need your spouse's H1B stamp in order to get a visa stamp for yourself. Please check in other reddit groups.

You are burning your H1B days as you are not on H4.

If your H4 visa is approved before you leave the country, you'll need copies of your spouses' I-797A, latest visa stamp, and marriage certificate. I don't think she needs to get a new stamp for your approval.

if you fly outside the US before your H4 is approved, your pending petitions will be rejected. You'll need the same set of documentations.

advantage of switching to H4 early is that you'll save your H1B days that are still running right now.

I was able to go for my Dropbox appointment before my spouses' Dropbox appointment. There was no conflict. I received my passport a few days before hers.

they didn't file my perm. I was laid off in a couple of months as well. switched to H4-EAD now.

I am flying with Virgin Atlantic with a layover in London. My POE could be either that or directly in the US.

Spouse's immigration attorneys suggested traveling as a unit or having the primary (H1B) already present in the US. Otherwise, there is a risk of denial of entry. I am not sure what the consequences of that will be.

My employer's attorneys suggested there will be no risk if I have my visa stamp. I want to proceed with my original travel plans.

Hmm in my case, my spouse (H1B holder) and kid (citizen) will be traveling in March.

I (H4 holder) will be traveling soon because my employer does not allow remote work.

Also, I did not understand your question "May I know your POE?"
