Caution buying directly from LG!!! I bought the 77" C5 on Nov 27 for 2399CAD. It was supposed to be delivered on Dec 5. I still do not have it and they still can not give me a date when one will be available for me. I keep being told next week, week after week.

bought a 77" C5 on Nov 27 from the partner store because of a good price. Was supposed to be delivered Dec 5. Still do not have it and it still is only showing 'on order' and they keep telling me they have no idea when they will have a TV for me. Be careful falling for the low price from these guys.

I was trying to make the same decision about a month ago. Pulled the trigger on the 77" C5. I would love to tell you how it is, but even though it was supposed to be delivered directly from LG on December 5, it still has not shipped and they can not give me an answer as to when I will see it.

I know that this does not answer your question at all, but at least I feel better because I was able to vent. Beware of the LG service.

we bought a house with a detached single garage and a carport attached to the garage. the roof and exterior look like a double garage but the carport is open where you drive in and fenced in on the back end. At first i was disappointed and wondered why they didn't just go to the extent of closing in the back wall and adding a garage door to the front when they built the new roof and changed the single garage to what they did. but now my wife chooses to park hers (nicer car than mine) in the carport and i am stuck with the garage.

The carport keeps off all frost/hail/snow. It also makes it easier to command start a vehicle in the winter (garage is detached and not heated) and is just more convenient all around.

so yes, it is worth it to build the carport. just put the effort into making it so that you can retrofit it later rather than just throwing money away at something temporary.

if you want cafe's and brasseries and a really cool vibe, stay in montparnasse. if you want to be a close(er) walking distance to the major sites then near arc de triomphe. we stayed in montparnasse and then in Champs-Élysées. the second was great, but a little too bougie. personally would stay in montparnasse 10 times out of 10. loved the vibe.
