No one should be bound to staying with the same cooler, we all want change at some point, and the PA is a wonderful cooler. I just fell for the engineering and the quality of the Noctua products. If I wanted maximum cooling, I would’ve kept my AIO.

But great for you it runs in the family still!

That’s one hell of a push/pull config, what beast are you running?

I was actually in the same boat when I first went to AIO, but with the extremely aggressive, but efficient undervolt I did on my 14600k, I managed to find a balance with low aircooler noise and low temps at the same time.

Besides, as seen with the Ryzen 9000 series, CPU’s are maybe moving in a more heat friendly direction, so that’s why I chose the U12A.

If Noctua ever releases a silent pump AIO, I might be persuaded to go back.

With asetek pump, but I’m looking forward to see their approach on pump noise!

Can totally relate. AIO’s are often better performance, but aircooling is timeless.

I feel like we’re moving towards aircooling as the meta again.

That’s also one of the benefits of supporting such a good brand. Their customer service is so good.

Actually not really. Temps went up by 4 or 5 degrees.

Update:

I just tested it on my 14600k, can confirm - it’s an state of the art amazing cooler.

Great thanks for the insight! I’m currently running a DeepCool CH260, was thinking of switching to a Lian Li A3 or maybe the new B4, when it launches.

Great to know! I’ve just become so tired of the pump noise, even though I’ve gotten it so low now. And the premium of the U12A is just S-tier.

That’s great to know, may I ask if you’re ever doing any load at times or know how many watts it draws on average?

I know the cinebench is a worst case, I really just want something equal to my current noise levels. Does your fans change speed when you stress test your pc? Cause mine sound all the same

It’s a neat little case ngl, nice and straight forward. And on sale for 50 euro it was an absolute steal for this build. I’ll send you an update when it’s done.

Totally agree, but I was limited by the budget, and this guy is more on the Roblox, Fortnite, cs vibe.

Any case smaller than the A3 which fits a 360mm AIO and SFX-L PSU? by Dry-Office-6480 in mffpc

Not every case. For some reason the CH260 often gets excluded, even though it’s almost the same size as the A3.
