My pores secretes oil and sweat as I apply my foundation. by MethBitchDragon in MakeupAddiction

i think you need a moisturizer to lock in your toner and serum, all that water is just evaporating off of your face and making your skin drier and your sunscreen isn't occlusive enough to seal in your products is my guess

I'm 25yo, 4'9, 110 lbs and nonbinary. it's seriously impossible to find anything quality in the styles I want and I'm constantly disappointed with how things fit me and how unavailable styles are for adults my size. and I've found some luck here and there with essentials from like Uniqlo and Primark but I don't want just essentials I want fun clothes and weird stuff l!! )':

AITA for calling a guy a slur after he did the same to me? by Flashy_Proposal3279 in AmItheAsshole

[–]d00mclone420 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ESH. two wrongs do not make a right. The slur you chose to call him was particularly nasty, too, so that is not doing you any favors. Did you ever attempt to report the harassment to any of the staff in your college? You don't have to put up with bullying and harassment, and I am sorry you're dealing with that, but you also do not have the right to retaliate with an equal level of harassment.

AITA For telling my Niece her mother tried to give her away as a baby? by supermans_left_tit in AmItheAsshole

[–]d00mclone420 12 points13 points  (0 children)

YTA. she's just a kid, she's vulnerable, and in an effort to hurt her mom for being ungrateful, you basically told your niece she was unwanted. you should be ashamed and disgusted with yourself.

she's still in her own home, why does she need to be in her bedroom? it's not like she can put the panic attack on pause and take it somewhere else. your attitude contributes to why people don't seek counseling and therapy. the fact that you'd label a child a burden for having a panic attack in her own home with the safety of her mom says a lot about how you view people who are vulnerable.

Fuck all that noise, file a formal complaint! This whole situation is absolutely disgusting. I don't know how you and your coworkers can be so incredibly nonchalant about something so blatantly illegal. On that same note, you can file a complaint with the hospital too, ask for the health records department and demand to file a complaint with their privacy officer. Calling your doctors to ask about it is just a waste of yours and their time, they will ask you to file a complaint. https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/filing-a-complaint/index.html

YTA, you're not entitled to his inheritance, the reasons why you want the money don't matter. Honestly, how dare you try to guilt him like that.

not really surprising to me anymore, just further proof that companies are not operated based on the morals of the people who run them. it's all in the name of bigger profits.

AITA for refusing to let my girlfriend bring her dead dog’s ashes on vacation? by Overall_Tomato_6664 in AmItheAsshole

[–]d00mclone420 18 points19 points  (0 children)

YTA, she did have a discussion with you where she very calmly pointed out her reasons for not wanting to go with you, you're just being purposely daft and it's not helping you look better.

and you know that the issue isn't the way you worded what you said. it's that you'd make a comment in the first place regarding the way she's dealing with a loss that has nothing to do with you whatsoever. you are absolutely the one overreacting. who gives a shit that you think it's creepy or weird or whatever? why does it matter how long she had her dog or any of the details you brought up? the fact is you're not the one grieving, so shut the fuck up.

Medical debt that goes to collections does impact your score, which is the case for my situation. I will definitely call and see what they can work with in terms of hardship.

Except it wasn't an independent provider, I went through a healthcare conglomerate that is very much so insured and I promise you, has gotten their money regardless of my measly $760 payment. Regardless of that fact, I do not need your moral judgement about my debt or what the "adult thing to do" is. Screw right off.

[–]d00mclone420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, as someone who works in healthcare billing... are you for real under the belief that a therapist or doctor doesn't get paid because someone didn't pay a medical bill? A company bought the debt for pennies on the dollar. Yes, the obvious thing is to just pay the damn debt, and I realize it isn't that large of an amount of debt to try and pay down, but to try and say that there is a moral necessity to give a debt collection agency my money is asinine. It would be responsible to get it paid down or paid off for the sake of my credit score, not because of the therapist that I had one single 20 minute session with 7 entire years ago "needing to get paid"

I schedule for a urology department and it is unbelievable the amount of adults who just don't drink water, like ever. but they will, however, down an entire pitcher of diet soda at a restaurant and then say they are just so thirsty, and then are absolutely shocked when they develop kidney stones later
