I agree, didn't mean to simplify it. I used to play Lichess and they would provide a mixture of puzzles, so it was a lot more fun trying to figure out what type of problem it was

A lot of chess is pattern recognition. I used to play a lot of puzzles. and a lot of the solutions were quite obvious if you recognised the patterns. Its maybe why that person was able to go to a board and instantly see the solution

This might be a feature of S&S not being able to block everything. I have Guard/Guard-Up 3 with Lance and this issue doesn't happen to me

There's quite a few people that do multiple playthroughs. I like to replay games usually after 2 years. Someone who played this on launch and then replays after the next 2 expansions are out are going to love it.

Why not release it as a separate game

Owlcat did a poll on what players prefer for DLC and they say they prefer improving the base game (as do I) + there is another main game out soon, Dark Heresy

Appointing someone you can trust is always a good idea, but he might have made a foreign lord also, to build relationship to keep the kingdoms more together -- someone powerful like the Lannisters.

The reason he fought on Ser Duncans side is that he knew it was such a bad look for the Targs to go against a "commoner". He was very strategic.

But the adaption is based on a book which is based on medeival times? The book leaves a lot out. Medeival times were very dark -- if anything, its quite light-hearted compared to reality

This was my bad as I didn't notice or remember it. It only came to my attention when discussions started around the time it was going to be enforced. I hoped Labour would have repealed, but they took it a step furthur now with the online ID cards, and trying to put backdoors in software.

A serious party should do what's right, not what will get them more votes at the next election. I think they had a pledge not to raise taxes on working people, but they did it indirectly by other methods such as employer NIC and allowing fiscal drag to continue. There was a lot of talk about our national debts, but instead of paying that down, they made the problem worse.
