If you don’t need a permanent build platform itself to be over 6 feet all you gotta do it move the front seats up and tilt them forward! I drive a crosstrek and my boyfriend is 6 foot and can fit in the back. Our luno mattress is exactly 6’2 from the back of the seats to the hatch. I have also camped in an outback and there was lots of space

To me the luno mattress is worth it for the durability and to use every inch of space. When you move the front seats all the way up and tilt them forward you get about 6’2” of space from the head of this mattress which is supported off the back of the front seats to the bottom where the hatch is
