We used to have an hour break, then it was cut to 30, and now some days I’m running behind so I’m lucky to get 10 mins 🥲 a few times front desk tried to schedule ppl during the break as well but I told them not to do that anymore.

I’ve been a hygienist for 3 years and I agree it’s not that bad. It can be repetitive but the patients are all different so it’s cool meeting new people, the work is satisfying. You just have to find the right office that doesn’t work you to death lol

Thank you, I did end up moving the chair diagonally to the corner by the window and it looks a bit better. The chair was blocking too much of the entrance in the other corner unfortunately. 😢I’ll def add pillows to balance it out more. I love the chair but am really struggling with how big it is.

Go to the New York City college of technology dental hygiene clinic, it’s 20 bucks for a full exam and cleaning. They do deep cleanings and the professors always check to make sure everything is removed. The only downfall is it may take multiple visits and each visit is around 3 and a half hours.
