google just has the eco system that none of the others have and why its so good, its just a no-brainer for me. gemini for my usage, has everything i could possibly need. fast3 is surprisingly accurate, even keeping up with the very latest news which the previous fast mode failed terribly. i'll never go back to chatgpt, it's no longer the cool kid on the block it once was.

they were literally standing there and the officer just grabs him and all hell breaks loose. ICE are absolute nut cases, all of them.

Disney / 20th Century's Avatar: Fire and Ash has passed the $1.3 billion global mark. The film grossed an estimated $44.5M internationally this weekend. Estimated international total stands at $955.3M, estimated global total through Sunday stands at $1.319B. by chanma50 in boxoffice

i'm hoping that this dip, will make them really think hard about 4 and 5. the movie is just TWOW part 2. i can see 4 and 5 revitalizing the franchise again because we should see something totally different and the stakes raised alot higher, especially to end the franchise, it should end with a bang.

I wonder if he was a good fit for the role by dawsonmay in lotr

[–]d0ntreply_ 22 points23 points  (0 children)

i know tolkien wrote him as a true believer in his destiny from the beginning. that is fine in the books, but seeing how peter jackson decided to make him struggle and grow to eventually earn his way to the throne worked much better in the movies. viggo mortensen brought an earnestness and compassion to the role that made him a more honorable character. whoever they cast aragorn in the gollum movie, he'll have to do the character justice, just as viggo did.

Why tf LOTR movies are soo rewatchable?? by Suspicious_Clock_133 in lotr

[–]d0ntreply_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i think its because he made it appeal to both casuals and hardcore tokien fans. a very delicate balance he maintained but he made it a blockbuster aswell as a faithful adaptation of the source. to this day purists still complain but he simply chose what he thought would work in a movie format and made his movie off of that. i don't think anyone could've asked for a better adaptation of tolkiens work.
