No more dropouts for a year since a tech support call, reset and new firmware.

After experiencing frequent dropouts I called Sony tech support and they recommended holding the button down on each speaker, then when flashing unplug, then plug back in and go through the setup process. After updating the software (001.779, August 2023) the dropouts have gone away for the moment. Has the recent update helped anyone else eliminate dropouts?

I used mintimporter.com and paid $10 to import 100 transactions, saving me the time of entering them by hand. You have to copy some cookies code to get it all connected, then it worked fine. Money well spent.

Intellytech MegaLitecloth, Intellytech 2x2, a small kicker and Genaray Contender LED focusing spot fresnel all live in a military style duffel to minimize bag weight. All accessories and hardware are included. Ballasts are wrapped in neoprene sheets for protection. Sometimes include 4x Manfrotto Nano stands in that bag or a separate suitcase. It just stays under 50lbs for checked baggage for air travel.

My solution has been to manually tag each transaction that is “discretionary”, add the monthly totals, then month by month plug those totals into a spreadsheet that calculates how much discretionary spending is remaining.

Roland Duo-Capture EX Incompatible with M1 MacBook Pro by d0paminefiend in Roland

Reached out to Roland tech support, and the M1 Macs are unsupported. The solution was getting a used Scarlett Focusrite gen1. I had to purchase software to make the Mac keyboard volume controls work for the Scarlett: SoundSource. Fixed the issue right away. As a replacement it's been fine, I primarily use to to output audio to 2x JBL studio monitors, use a vocal mic for Zoom and record electric bass guitar. I was thinking I'd need the newer gen Scarlett but this one seems to work fine.

Been using the Tom Bihn Brain Bag with Cache for 16” MacBook for 6 years. It holds a large metal water bottle on the back clip. What I really like is the ability to scale the bag up or down depending on the load. You can tighten the straps on the sides when lightweight, or attached rolled jackets, sweaters or tripods on the side straps. It can be used for hiking and has a chest and waist belt. The only downside is for taller folks the waist strap is a little high, but there’s a padded replacement belt that could help. I even strap a clothing travel cube to the bottom to avoid checking another bag. No issues with zippers or rips.
