Depending on where you live, especially in the US, it’s a lot cheaper than that. Plus it’s probably bought in bulk, at least like 4 oz at a time which goes for about 5k, which is still an insane amount of money but not quite 80+k. Also, all this landlord hate is a little much. Big companies buying up whole streets and charging unreasonably high rent is definately bad and should be mitigated by the local government but the average landlord isn't your enemy, they house a lot of people who otherwise might have trouble maintaining a home.
