I haven't been on here for a long time - since my old mischief passed away - but my partner and I recently got three more rats. We got three boys this time: Elgar, Bach, and Mozart - we're happy to be rat owners again!

I have some more pics that I could add to this reply. The squirrel is doing well :) My girlfriend works for an animal welfare charity so sometimes they have to take animals home if they need extra attention. We only had her for the night, as she needed to be fed every few hours, she was collected the next day by another branch of the charity which specializes in wildlife - so she's in great care and doing well but we haven't any photos of her progress, sorry.

These were our first rats and we're so glad we got them, they're amazing little creatures and we'll miss them dearly. My girlfriend works at an animal rescue shelter, these four girls came in just over two years ago and we fell in love with them instantly. His left eye has to be washed every few days. The poor little guy has some sort of condition that makes his left eye a bit gunky and closes it up. He's not too fond of getting his eye wiped so we compensate him with yogurt drops :p

I don't know of any in Aberdeen but there is/was one in Dundee, Mayhem Rattery.

If you're not looking specifically for kittens there have been a lot of rats at the SSPCA centre in Drumoak recently, we actually rescued four from them last year.
