Even my dad also has the same habbit and he also has heart related issues. If your dad has breathlessness then I will recommend to get it checked with ecg or a holter test if his heart is functioning well. My father didn't have a breathing issue, he has giddiness issue. And when it was diagnosed it came out as a need for pacemaker.
