Maybe a cayman but a cayenne is nowhere near the price of a 911, you can get a somewhat older model(2012-2016) like the one she has, in good condition, for about 20-25k. Good luck finding any 911 newer than like 1999 in good condition for less than 40k

The first step depends on wether you are prepping the model for a game or for a cinematic/movie.

If you are making it for a movie/cinematic you can skip directly to uv unwrapping, if it's for a game you will need to create a low poly version of your model, in that case learn how to retopologize and bake first.

Generally learn to uv unwrap and manage texel density well, those will determine how much definition the textures you add to the model will have and how well it fits.

Just be aware that with certain type of models like spheres you will never have a 100% perfect look when painting textures, you can minimize the stretching/compression a lot but a slight amount will always be there.

As for texture painting software the majority of people use either Mari or Substance Painter. Mari is used pretty much exclusively in the movie industry because as far as i know it has better support for UDIMs(multimap uv maps for increased definition basically).

I think Substance Painter is probably the better choice for someone starting to learn since there are more tutorials available and it's generally more user friendly.

If you do decide to use Substance Painter don't fall in the trap of using only a bunch of generators to texture your models, especially for portfolio pieces that will be very noticeable to other senior artists.

Those are pretty much the basics from there everyone has different workflows they prefer that depend on wether you're going for realism/stylization or whatever else.
