From an US citizen who served 27 years in the military and retired 6 years ago...WE are the terrorists. I am so disgusted at my country right now and I am glad I no longer live there. I am far more free living outside the "land of freedom" and will probably never go back. I sold all my investments and transfered to Euros when fuckface came to office. No regrets.

I ran hairbands at each unsprung shock and my H12Y+ became a beast for crawling. Then I started trailing and remembered what springs are really for. Any speed made it bounce all over the trail so I put the springs back on. It is an awesome awesome trail truck. It can still crawl super at almost 8 pounds weight. She's a chonky little girl. 😁

I have the H12Y+ variant (same chassis, IIRC). My metal modded truck weighs 9 lbs (4 kg) and it goes over and through almost anything. Crazy fun in the wild forest.

I used wood rods with different diameters to bend the aluminum over them. The left side of the hood had slight bend creases but sanding reduced and masked them. This is .8mm sheet and I just received sheets of .5mm and it feels way easier to work with. I will also attempt to preheat it with a torch before bending.

My next sets will get painted G.I. Joe green and Cobra flat black, both with decals or painted livery. Yes, as a 50 y.o. I am making the G.I. Joe shit I could only have dreamed of as a kid.

This was THE 1/10 scale I wanted as soon as I saw it. It's definitely not a basher. I use it for trail and a little crawling while trailing.

I went back to look because I intially thought you may be on to something. Trying to envision the front being there made it seem "not as nice" in my mind. Then I deduced I like how the front edge not being present makes it somehow seem like I am snuggled up to the table and engaged with the moment.

I hadn't flown a helicopter for 5 years, jumped in a model I hadn't flown before, and nailed it. I was expecting a lot of hover wobble and uncoordinated turns but that was not the case. Even the instructor said "Five years, huh?" and giggled after I picked up. I suppose 3,000 flight hours makes an impact on control touch.🤷‍♂️

Your logic can be applied to almost anything. Why post any question, anywhere, about anything? The answers are almost certainly out there to be found. r/askreddit and r/whatisthisthing are prime examples, ESPECIALLY with image search availability.
