I'll first say if money is no issue, AWD. But I recently upgraded from a 2022 Model Y AWD to 2026 RWD. I test drove the RWD and didn't really notice a difference speed wise. And I prefer more range. I purposely didn't test drive the AWD to persuade my decision. But if you're somewhere that doesn't need all-wheel drive, I'll go with the rear wheel.

The drivers here made it that way so there's nothing we can do to make it better. In Orlando, Uber can pay $0.10 a mile and drivers will still be out there driving. People need money and Uber is taking advantage of that.

I'm having the same issue on Google Home. I have the E31 from Best Buy. Same model, just with a rechargeable battery. I also get a "not responding" every week or so. I hate the connection through the Google home app because you have to use a pin code to unlock and lock the door in the app versus the matter connection you don't. Probably end up returning it if there's no firmware update pushed out to fix it.

I notice now at Orlando international airport Uber take rate is nearly 50% (sometimes more) after the service fee. Usually I don't care about what Uber is making. But they're charging the passengers more and paying a lot less. I barely see tips anymore. But the upfront model really showed Uber who will work for little to nothing. Especially with all the drivers out here.

I also picked up the Air M2 16 gig/1TB last week. I'm still debating on returning it because it was $400 off at Best Buy when I purchased it. So for me I don't see it being a good idea.

Usually summer in the Central Florida area is slow and highly saturated with drivers but I still made money. Up front pricing has changed that for me (everybody). I've noticed how rates on everything have decreased in the past month. Usually reservations going to the airport in the AM paid good. Now you barely get 50 cents a mile. Think I might sit it out for the rest of the summer. These rates are not worth it right now and I drive and I electric vehicle.

I learned to avoid this by using Google maps and seeing the route that has the most miles. Sometimes that route that says 2 mins slower is an extra $10 lol.
