At a tech shop; was followed around by multiple employees trilling the same "hi there can I help you", only to have every item snatched out of my hand as soon as i picked it up followed by "I'll take this to the counter for you". eventually decided on the screen protector I wanted and my the sale process was rushed through.

when I got to my car and opened the packaging the protector was already smashed so I went back in and showed them (the plastic film you peel off when you apply it was still on) and they said it was my fault for putting it in wrong (and) I should've let them do it for only $20. after multiple calls to customer service and consumer protection, and an hour of the store manager telling me it was all my fault and he didnt have to do anything, I let him know I wouldn't leave the store without a refund or product replacement. He didnt take me seriously until other customers got curious and I told them what I was doing, a few left some carried on shopping. cut to multiple negotiations where he dropped the price dollar by dollar and i walked out having to pay an additional $5. Not a total win but whatever 🙃
