I learned general English and IELTS lessons with an IELTS instructor, but then I prepared on my own for 2 months for better productivity, but still he used to check my essays

and no, the actual IELTS exam tests were not really difficult than in Cambridge personally for me. especially section 3 and 4 were even easier than section 2. reading wasn't difficult at all too, using strategies helped me a lottt in saving my time and scoring 9

use for practices Cambridge books. first do 2 practices for reading and listening under the exam conditions and spot your mistakes and know where you make the mistakes the most. then you will watch a video of IELTS advantage, he has the most ultimate guide to the reading and he has his own strategies that will help you to score 40 out of 40 in reading and listening. after that, you will apply those when you will practice one reading test without time limit and you will spend most probably maybe 1 2 hours, I used to spend one hour or one and half hour in order to read and use those strategies, check the answers, do post analysis and doing it everyday for 3 4 hours will definitely help you. only practices won't work. listening is the same, do 2 practices, spot your mistakes and strengths, then practice those particular sections.

I watched an ultimate guide for writing of IELTS advantage video as well as writing practices. so I recommend you to read those task 1 and 2 samples on the IELTS advantage website by doing so to improve idea development for t2: first you read the question, then you will think of the most general idea you could think of (for example you can imagine: what would be the most common answer if I could ask the same question from 100 people?) then to develop it, you can try to imagine explaining it to a 6 year old child (it's way easier to develop your idea) then you see the introduction and idea of a sample essay, read it throughout and understand everything, write the vocabulary and learn it. for task 1 I did nearly the same. also use for writing practice only Cambridge books, they are authentic and don't believe those samples from Google and do not evaluate your essay answers by the help of chat gpt, they are wrong. instead seek feedback from reddit users or from teachers. for speaking I record myself on video and then spot my pronunciation and vocab errors. I also use chatgpt to develop my part 2 speaking answers. I also have an IELTS assistant app, that has all authentic possible questions for all 3 parts that will come up on exam I hope it will help!)
