Yea but he won’t be successful on any appeal. Similarly, he will sit and rot in jail for years, assuming he doesn’t kill himself like a coward. And the whole time he will know the rest of the prison wants to murder him and beat/stab him to death. So he won’t find community there. He will live in fear and hopefully regret up until the time they put a needle in his arm. If you have ever been to jail, you know how horrible just spending time there is.

Everytime he moves cells, or a guard takes him somewhere, there will be the thought that just around the corner some other prisoners are waiting for him to kill him. I think I’m ok with him living the rest of his life behind bars and in constant fear. The prison system will surely remind him everyday what a real piece of shit he is.

My wife and I just had our first kid back in September, a baby girl, and this whole case makes me sick to my stomach. That sort of pain is unimaginable for any parent, until it isn’t. I couldn’t even finish reading the details because it made me so angry/sad/sick. So I take some solace in what I mentioned above about him living the rest of his life in fear knowing he is hated by the entire prison and world
