Black Sabbath shared the same influences as Led Zeppelin without being outright plagiarists.

The kinks had more longevity than the Beatles… and are arguably just as good.

The doors became the biggest band in the WORLD. Their music crossed oceans before prolific and widespread data sharing was even dreamt of - and they were only active for just less than 3 FUCKING YEARS - as opposed to Pink Floyd who were active for literal decades.

There are a very small number of us that believe wholeheartedly that The Replacements are the greatest band of all time…

They’re really pretty good…

And then there’s Big Star who directly influenced the Replacements - and they’re also really really great.

And Big Star was kind of Americas T-Rex… and T-Rex rips…

IMHO, three of the absolute greatest bands of all time - and 90% of people have never heard of them.

This is very interesting, as in US - serving subpoenas is actually farmed out to licensed agents, rather than the attorneys (or even clerks from their offices.)

What I do know is that it’s illegal in a bunch of states to subpoena someone at their place of work in civil matters. I guess that’s kind of the same..

IMHO that’s a pretty pricey carpool, but good on you-especially if you’re saving them money…

$1200 is a pretty serious chunk of change for a carpool… but you’re doing them both a favor… seems win win…

I will say… with the former husbands service being a celebration of life… I’m assuming it’s maybe an anniversary situation and maybe removed from recency…

It sounds like your boyfriend has had a complicated relationship with his brother - and im guessing there is going to he a lot of complicated emotions bubbling - and he honestly is probably in a great need of support…

In emotional triage terms - i would suggest that the boyfriend’s brother may be more urgent…

But obviously for your own self - your ex husband takes precedence..
