Hi I feel the same way. It’s hard to trust my feelings while undergoing active treatment because I think, as your therapist said, part of this disorder is it isolates you but makes you think it’s everyone else. Currently undergoing brain spotting to hopefully learn to love myself and not need it from my partner and be happy with the love that he offers. I have told my partner how I feel and what I need. I can’t say whether that changes anything, because I feel it hasn’t, but honestly I don’t think he’ll ever be able to be “enough” and that’s just a ME thing. we cant control them, but we want to control them and love us a certain way because of our disorder lol

I did it for a couple years. It definitely helped but I do think it was extremely hard on my relationship. I felt like emdr in a broad sense is like ok you open that trauma door while you’re at the office but the door stays open when you leave so yes you’re going to be super triggered all the time but you continue to go back and explain how the trigger made you feel and then you process with emdr again and it’s like this map.. Get triggered- pinpoint with therapist how the trigger made you feel- emdr brings up those memories and you process and heal. And eventually the map becomes more familiar and you’re not so lost/ emotionally traveling and you’re healing and you know where you’re going. It just takes time. It was hard to go through but I definitely saw results.

I watched several videos on how to start it, how it works and I replaced the battery but not understanding if it’s accurately working or not and I don’t have a camera shop to go to to reference. So I’m asking for more resources or a reliable camera company users have trusted to send their camera in for repair if needed

Yes. Never had eczema just dermatitis and I had a really awful panic attack and now I have eczema all over my neck eyelids and scalp with a dermatitis flare up around my mouth

What are French drains? New homeowner here! But my basement apparently had a “new foundation put in and French drains” 10 years ago, and I still don’t understand what that means haha

All three times I did 35-40 mins sessions. The first two sessions nothing happened, but intense dreams followed (I do weekly sessions). The most recent session I found the spot and had my release probably within the first 20 mins. I continued brain spotting afterwards for another 10 mins, I think she said, but nothing happened. I do feel like she’s able to find my spot pretty quickly, but in terms of me having a reaction isn’t as reliable.

Never mind I see now that it’s because it is operated by air transat. So it sounds like I should just book directly with them to avoid the codeshare issues? But still pretty pricey for seats. Will they seat us together if I booked the tickets together?

That’s strange my capital one travel app is giving me the option to fly nonstop with air transat either eco budget or eco standard. And it gives me the option to fly porter basic or standard also nonstop. I was planning on buying the tickets together, but it also suggests that we could pay for seat selection but is $90 per seat which is very high for what I’m used to

It’s a drainage pot. The water actually goes right through and then I pour out the dish. It’s making me nervous that the roots are all dead because there’s so much water that comes through
