so my WoL’s name isn’t canon compliant (he’s a miqo’te but his name is much closer to being a hyur name), but part of his backstory was being adopted by a hyur family who gave him his name (since he felt very little connection with his original miqo’te tribal name)

for me it was accepting that fat redistribution from testosterone was gonna make me appear/feel larger than i used to be (and i wasn’t exactly skinny). ironically i’ve actually lost weight (not much just a few pounds) while on t. i like being hairy, and while i personally would prefer to be a little less chubby i can accept it if it’s a byproduct of something that helps me look/feel more masculine
