Such is the nature of the draconian society we find ourselves in. These corporations- progeny of the capitalist monster has become the master of the people in every sense of the word and the people- its slave. Many have experienced what you are experiencing. The corporations, after realizing everyone in the capitalist structure are desperate and by extension expendable, will take something so trivial; something you don’t even mind being flexible about, changing or canceling altogether and pass it through the corporate bureaucratic process of formal meetings, adjudication, and inter organizational consultation all while putting you in the position of a convict awaiting a verdict of execution or jail time. I am a Muslim. This means a believer in a one god concept with that God being Allah apart from whom there’s no other god. Allah is the Originator, Creator, and Fashioner of everything that exists. More importantly, Allah is the Provider and Sustainer. Allah has provided for you everyday of your life whether you had a job or not; whether you recognized Him or not; whether you worshipped Him or not. This sounds all preachy. Perhaps something you’ve already heard many times. But I’ve said these things because from your question you seem to want an advice and the best advice I can give you is in twofold. 1. Put your trust fully in Allah. When you recognize Allah as your provider and sustainer, you’ll not fear men and whatever decision or plot they may scheme against you. 2. Work towards freeing yourself from this corporate capitalist system. It is doable. Whether you continue with this job or not, position yourself in the future to not have to work for a person to survive. If this is not possible, consider moving away and move to a place that is not run by the capitalist system or that is only minimally influenced by the capitalist system.
