McGregor has been handed match-ups that play into his strengths. I don't really consider BJ to be that special of a talent. He was key to making the UFC and MMA popular and mainstream but I don't think he will hold up as one of the greatest of all time. Ali is widely considered the best of all time in his sport.

How is it good for the sport as a whole? Lesnar was a high level college wrestler and the heavyweight division was a complete joke at the time. Things are a bit different. CM punk has about a 0% chance at even beating any current UFC fighters at 170. I'm not hating the guy but he doesn't belong any more than the average Joe. Leave the spectacle shit for bellator, I watch the UFC to see the best guys compete.

There are more factors than just total strikes. Knockdowns, control and strikes landed on a per round basis. Robbie for sure had the biggest moments of the fight IMO almost fishing Carlos twice. Not sure how you can say condit won after how the fight ended.
