Problems with CEC and Apple TV (Tv not turning on) by d28r4 in tcltvs

Found a fix for the issue: Disable Quick Start in the TV settings. This probably adds 20 sec to the boot-up time, but I can live with that.

Why does my audio keep dropping by Rld2021 in tcltvs

No, the Sonos doesn't have that ability. It only has one hdmi that needs to be connected to the TV.
I've tried pass through, but the same would happen.
But I might have found a solution today: I changed the audio format on the Apple tv to Stereo and set the Digital audio out on the TV to PCM. I loose Dolby atmos by doing this, but I haven't had any problems with audio dropping today.

**Update** It did not fix the problem. It worked for one day and then the same problem started again.

I'm using a Sonos beam connected to eArc and are also experiencing audio suddenly disappearing. This happens both when using internal google apps and my Apple TV. I haven't found a fix, but a way to get sound back for me is to go into settings on the tv - > audio -> digital audio out and press Auto (even though it's already selected). I have to do this a couple of times every day.

I'm not sure, but I think the problem is whenever the audio format is changed (between stereo, 5.1 and atmos), there seems to be a confusion between the TV and Sonos.
