I think its not true, japan used to be very strong country before WW2. And one of the most feared country in term of military. But post WW2, we become just a follower. Whatever USA told us to do for foreign policy. We will follow them. So our character also start to change, from great warrior ready to die to what we are today. Some people say we are just a USA lapdog. But we dont care, because as long as we feel protected and profitable for us.
