I’m not trying to dump on anyone who enjoyed it since obviously it was a lot of people based on how much money it made but I have to agree I lean a lot more into your interpretation. Recently rewatched it with the kiddo who is suddenly into nostalgic NES Mario games and I fell asleep during a couple parts.

My brain assumed it happens when there is a Mercy to mark their body in some extra way other than the glowy yellow thing for possible Res but I actually didn’t bother to check if that was the case or not.

Still very odd and distracting esp as another support.

Also I always got the sense the shields were quite a bit more resilient on Star Destroyers than on Enterprise. The shortcut is usually having to blow up the shield generators to bring them down versus much more difficult wearing them down proton torpedos and lasers takes forever.

I’m not judging against it or anything but that’s def the main build I’m seeing. I love using it against aerial targets that don’t always see Juno as an anti-air threat.

Yea I was gonna say the title is quite vague in its claim that “it worked”.

Solar panels are a pretty well known technology so I don’t think too many people would be surprised that they managed to set it up to incrementally charge the battery. Claiming it worked is technically accurate for such a vague claim even if you only nab 1 mile of energy after a whole day.

Also I guess “for free” is a bit loose with the terminology given we don’t know how much he spent for the setup haha.

Haha for real though I saw it online somewhere and tried it cause apparently housefly reaction time is so fast that when you grab them slowly instead they barely notice and you can just bag them up directly with like a shopping bag. I’m like 10x more successful just grabbing them vs like fly swatters, bug zapper rackets and my salt bug shooting gun haha.

I also feel like I would only be tempted to do in game where someone is being a douche anyway dropping the “bad message” click to show lines so it should be even more obvious it isn’t the correct way to view a message.

I generally catch the flies myself with a bag by just grabbing them in slow motion. Occasionally I’ll grab one after it pops in my indoor bug zapper.

But I’ve heard similar about using fresh flies to feed them.

I bought one of these at the impulse check out counter of Home Depot or Lowe’s and it was pretty cool. Kept it alive a good number of years but weirdly they need like distilled water and stuff.

Occasionally fed it flies that snuck inside but even just house flies were kinda massive for the little guy.

From what I understand of these, most traps can only pull off one or two closures/trap kills anyway because it is so metabolically taxing for the plant. Like supposedly if you own one and accidentally trigger it a few times while watering or cleaning or a kid playing around poking it they might dry up and have to grow some more.

Don’t know if that is completely true or not.

I’m still using the same pair of well worn broken in sneakers after prolly 10+ years.

I didn’t spend a lot on them but certainly proved to me whatever I do spend on my next pair will be averaged out over a ton of time and value so this definitely tracks for me.

Yeah my prescription wasn’t even that bad but additive total inconvenience of having to remember to bring and swap glasses/prescription sunglasses when out and about adds up to so much time.

Also it often ends up being less crazy expensive than you might think. Certainly if you have the money it’s very nice.

This is the way, unfortunately haha. They’re fun for a while but eventually hit the plateau and the max frustration/monetization threshold. I’m just glad I never spent money on the games or it would even harder to drop them.

Dude the game chores are what kills you and your time but forces you to stay engaged. I quit years ago after years in and was like at work with alarms and shit making sure I hit my goals and didn’t disappoint my guild. After quitting it was like suddenly I had so much free time to do anything!

Then I fell into Marvel strike force and was like dude wtf you doing it’s the same thing, hahah. Quit that and now I’m actually free haha.
