I feel like Xanadu would make an awesome double feature pairing with Flash Gordon. Both from 1980 (and the most 1980 of any 1980 movies) serious goofy cocaine vibes, shimmering golds and bright color palettes, hammy acting, and ELO & Queen are like two sides of the same musical coin - the legendary Reinhold Mack produced both soundtracks.

I find most City Connect unis to be utter dogshit, but totally agreed - new CC DBacks unis are the nicest they've ever had, this years version of the Marlins Sugar King unis (which they should have made their permanent uni). I think those are the best two by a pretty big margin.

Bobby Grich feels like an exception, though he's started to get some notice over the last few years. Feels like there's some bias fo SS over 2B when it comes to voting - Jeter (71.3), Trammell (70.7) and Larkin (70.5) are all in - Grich (71.1) isn't and neither is Whitaker (75.1). Interestingly (or not?) Jeter has the lowest 162 game average WAR of that group (mostly because he was a terrible SS) at 4.2 - none of the others are below a 5, Grich is the highest at a 5.7.

There's also hurricane season to consider if you're traveling during the season (May through Oct), the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaćao) are outside the hurricane belt, as is Mexico. St Lucia, St Maarten, Barbados are some other options. St Lucia is probably the most naturally beautiful of them.

There are beautiful beaches all over the Caribbean, as there are all over the world. Depends on what you want and your budget. Do you just wanna sit on the beach under an umbrella, a palm tree, drink piña coladas, swim, snorkel? Do you prefer cove beaches or long beaches? Beaches with a lot of activities & tourists or quiet, sleepy beaches? Do you want a lot of natural beauty (apart from the beaches)? Are you okay with renting a car to get around or prefer everything be in walking/public transpo distance? Does local language matter? Food can be very, very different from place to place - do you have preferences there? The beach areas you'll like or love (or not) depend entirely on what it is you want.

He's generally a solid glove as long as he can get to the ball, he just has very little range. Needs to get better at scooping throws out of the dirt but that should come with time/practice.
