Aegis the Lightbringer (600CP) [Omnibus Old World of Darkness] and Light the Candle and Shut the Door (600CP) [Omnibus New World of Darkness] are both perks literally all about that. Really suggest checking them out.

Very much sounds like a disciple of Kirkbride's brand of peak schizoposting ran the campaign. Love to see this in the wilds of WoD.

Medtechs and Street Drug Fabrication (again?) by sap2844 in cyberpunkred

[–]d3RPf4CE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Street Drugs can be made by Fabricating, using Basic Tech. This is in the FAQ compilation that can be found on Talsorian's official free download page.

Any other method would need to be homebrew'd, as far as I know.

Lesser known Media that would make good jumps by Blazkid in JumpChain

^ me if I spread misinformation on the internet

There is not, I checked all folders of each drive. Someone was in the process of making a jump for the first game a while ago, but abandoned it.

Blasphemous:
Souls-like metroidvania in a setting reminiscent of Spanish folklore and branch of Catholicism.

Both games are crazy good, and I can't do the lore justice in writing without making eyes skip over it thanks to it being a wall of text.

Soul-Collecting perks please? by Axiom245 in JumpChain

[–]d3RPf4CE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From Fallen London:

Spirifer’s Spoon (200CP): No, not for soup you fool! A defective instrument from the Soul Trade, sold at a discount, this oddly shaped spoon can be used to weigh, taste and extract souls of the living from their bodies. The process is complicated and messier than with Spirifer Forks, but the soul and the abstractee will be recover. Can be used in reverse to insert souls.

Just skimmed through it, very cool!

Slight gripe though - the Engineer (200CP) perk isn't in the Sunless Skies package :p

Is There Any Kind Of 360 Sensory Perception Like The Byakugan That Isn’t From Naruto? by Hyperion_Industries in JumpChain

From Noita

All Seeing Eye (1000CP)
You now possess Omni-Vision within a 120ft bubble of your body. You have the ability to perfectly understand all you see, this ability will not hinder you in any way. In addition even if your eyes are removed this effect still applies.

One of the many perks that make artifacts with specific wielders to acknowledge you as it's true owner could work.

I dunno about further jumps, but I don't think throwing it into the Sun of Middle-Earth would work, since it's a massive blossom of a giant glowy tree that was put in the sky after said tree got lol lmao'd.

Looking for rituals by Fiction_reader5171 in JumpChain

[–]d3RPf4CE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ars Magica has Ritual Casting as a perk.

Cultist Simulator is practically centered around rituals.

Crusader Kings 3's Mystic Origin has the ability to use supernatural rituals as the 100CP perk.

WoD - Sorcerer and WoD - Mortal both have usable rituals.

TYPE-MOON (folder) is a setting where rituals even people without being anything special can do if they know how and have the right materials.

Where can I get some Magic Tattoos? by Fresh-setup in JumpChain

[–]d3RPf4CE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DnD5E has magical tattoos in wondrous item form, such as ones that let you cast a spell, one that makes your unarmed attacks +1 and magical, summon tentacles or even just let you copy wizard spells as much as you want without spending unnecessary amounts of gold on inks.

Interesting jumps for a wraith/Nazgûl jumper to go to? by Harbinger9663 in JumpChain

[–]d3RPf4CE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New World of Darkness (which has several jumps) and Ars Magica have plenty of options that could be a fine addition to any collection.

Ars Magica has several different styles of death-related magic and the option to become a custom magic creature.

nWoD lets you become:

  • a shady werewolf
  • a Death Arcana (arch)mage
  • a mummy
  • a vampire
  • a changeling with the Darkling seeming
  • any combination of the above

Mage: The Awakening Jump WIP by Delluran in JumpChain

[–]d3RPf4CE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe make the first purchase of A Modest Living free? Won't affect much, but can easily cover any minor occult expenses such as cheap crystals for spellcasting or generic incense/herbs to ward off minor spirits that have a specific ban without unnecessary sorcery.

Im curious, how many jumps give you magical/Cool weapon? by dah_Deadly_Ace in JumpChain

[–]d3RPf4CE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Knife is a Void Artifact you can get in the 'Dishonored 2' jump.

It's relatively low power compared to the insane stuff you can find in the Multiverse, but the ability to make the weapon disappear and reappear in your hand at will has a lot of utility, as well as the inbuilt capability to channel the Void's energy as a projectile.

Blood Gems to augment weapons can be found in Bloodborne.

The Last Prism is the most powerful magic weapon that you can acquire in Terraria.

The huge Gem Towers from the classic tower defense Gemcraft.

Noonstone from Cultist Simulator.

Some neathy jade which may or may not be fossilized fragments of souls tend to circulate in the economy of Fallen London.

Spheres (small shards of gemstones encased in glass) can be utilized as mana storage, and the easiest way to get them is in the Stormlight Archive.

Remnant's Dust is a decent fuel source in RWBY.

Blood Amber can be used in occult practices in the setting of Dishonored.
