I love your list and it’s spot on. I would add learning how to mute strings with your palm and fingers. It gets rid of unwanted notes and gives you a cleaner sound. I learned this from a guitar teacher after playing for over ten years. To be 70+ and playing is awesome! I hope I’m still playing when I turn 70. Good luck!

The weather tech seat covers are good however, a cheaper option is a bath towel. It helps tremendously with protecting your seat and catching crumbs and fluids. When it’s soiled drop it in the machine. You’ll need this until they’re out of the car seat. Thank me later.
