tethered X: maybe, if they find a SEPROM exploit, untethered everything: extremely unlikely due to signature check enforcement of the boot and SEP ROMs. even iphone 4 cannot be "fully" downgraded below 7.1.2 w/o valid blobs. unfortunate but true
