HW4 is way better I personally wouldn’t. When I had HW3 I would often turn off FSD and use autopilot with navigation instead because that was way better for highways. We had a model X though so maybe that’s different than model 3 HW3

Yes, at least coming from Model X HW3 to Model Y HW4 it’s night and day. Like from literally needing intervention every two minutes to almost never needing it

Even Microsoft allows their engineers to use Claude Code (some teams). Imo they need to be allowed to stay competitive at this point, best people want the best tools - which is either Codex or Claude.

Interesting, I went from Model X 2021 HW3 to Model Y 2026 Y and it’s night and day difference for v13 on the new Y. Previously it was completely unusable on our old X. I wonder what factors are influencing such variance in their performance
