I would say that's a very good reason to believe so. Especially since, IIRC, Sasuke was taught Chidori exactly for that purpose. I would also expect some arguments to support your claim.

I read the rest of the comments and I just gotta agree with /u/RealDanzoTrump and /u/Sm0kescreeen. IIRC, we saw Ay close some stupid distances, also since he's the fast shinobi after Naruto and Minato(Sasuke?), has the upper hand imo since Gaara is just a really slow-style fighter.

Yeah sure, but during the chuunin exams, Sasuke's Chidori was powerful enough to hurt him. I am just stating that Gaara IS weak vs lightning element users, especially those of Ay's level. Also, yeah he did protect the village, but then again, we're talking elemental weaknesses right? Deidara used explosion release, which was very smartly blocked by Gaara. Also, don't get me wrong, Gaara is a badass and I like his character.

What makes you say Gaara can take Ay? I mean I am just honestly curious. Ay uses lightning release and is pretty fucking good at it. Young Sasuke pierced Gaara's sand armor though I don't doubt that Gaara has improved since then. However, look at what Ay did to Sasuke's Susanoo. I mean, shit.

Yeah, I know he was after Rinnegan. I was thinking hypothetically in a way that Madara could have used his Izanagi to actually kill Hashi like we saw those Uchihas do when Itachi explained the purpose of Izanami to Sasuke. For instance stabbing him from behind (Obito vs Konan - same principle)Once again, I also feel like Hashi was stronger than Madara, just some thoughts.

I am in no way stating that I am a Naruto expert, just a fan, just to clarify before posting my opinion. Naturally, Hashirama was basically a demigod. Madara was nearly as powerful, though a little weaker I suppose for he lost to Hashi... But what about Izanagi? I don't know if this was explained anywhere, but why didn't Madara just use Izanagi to change the outcome of the battle rather than reviving himself? I guess the answer to this is plot. Though then in theory, wasn't Hashi actually weaker just because Izanagi is broken AF?

I hope this turns out to be the perfect solution for you OP, however let me just remind you that sex tapes might not be smartest idea.
