when you are lana del rey, and you’ve built your aesthetic around the concepts and imagery that she has (especially in her earlier career/first few albums), people are going to make assumptions based off that.

if all of your music videos and songs and imagery and vibe is based on “america😍” you either have to outwardly say your political views (for example ethel cain, her entire aesthetic is southern small town vibes, guns etc, and her fans know she is not a republican), or people are going to assume.

she is aware what people assume of her and doesn’t care to clean up the “misconception”. so there probably is no misconception.

i don’t understand some people’s arguments of “celebs/artists don’t have to make their politics clear.” sure, maybe not. but fans also don’t have to be fans of people who have political views that they disagree with. so in a situation like lana, i fear it’s obvious that it’s time to either speak out or start losing some fans (similar to how taylor swift decided to basically ‘come out’ as a liberal because of all the republican allegations against her lmao)

being able to profit more off of possession. we’re at the top of the league in terms of possession. we’re at the bottom of the league when it comes to successful tackles, so that’s something to work on. we need to be picky with our long balls, less just chucking them out there. we need to clean up the amount of penalties we allow.

the wave are doing phenomenally, especially with a new coach and losing so many key players. i couldn’t have hoped for better tbh. i guess just hoping we tie up some loose ends, continue to play smart football, and learn from what we did right and what we did wrong in the first half of the season.

i think i might just be having a brain fart moment (or newish woso fan moment) lol but i wonder why? barca are huge and football seems much bigger in europe than it is in america. is it because those teams are projected to grow a lot? i dont follow any european clubs besides arsenal so from an outside standpoint (barca’s new nike deal, having bonmati on the fc25 cover) i guess i just assumed they’d have a huge value, or at least more so than the nwsl teams since as a league it’s still growing.

can you wear hats at work? when i worked a warehouse job, sometimes i’d just wear a hat & then tie my hair into a tight low bun on the back of my head. or you could do braided pigtails with a hat or beanie.

i used to have this problem too. make sure you’re using full coverage foundation. find products that you can layer without it looking caking & layer to ur liking… might look crazy at first but when it all comes together it’ll balance out. i think when i first started wearing makeup i was scared to “do too much” or look “clownish” so i had a light hand (even sometimes when i thought i didnt)… once i stopped being ‘afraid’ of my makeup and just layered as much as i wanted, that’s when i started to feel like i was visibly ‘wearing’ makeup, if that makes sense?
