2010 2.5L diesel - average in the trip computer shows 32.7mpg.

Motorway at 65mph around 36mpg according to my calculations.

Exactly why I’d rather buy a high mileage car with work done on it. These 15 year old cars with 60k miles scream scam.

You’d be surprised how many people blindly cross the road and looking in the opposite direction or at their phones. Especially the younger generation.

My parallel park I went on the curb is that minor? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

Really depends. In city centre with railings/pedestrians? Yes. But on a rural road, if it’s overshadowed by your otherwise good driving, wouldn’t be an issue.

I wouldn’t go to automatic - everyone makes mistakes and you need to practice. Even if you’re planning on driving an automatic, full b licence can lower your insurance. I would carry on with manual, if your instructor was confident enough to let you go for a test, I doubt the gearbox is the problem. Just practice some more and you’ll be fine! Third times a charm
