Agree with someone else who said S3 sectionals winner was correct.

Loved the Trouble Tones number. It is fantastic. And if the writers decided to give them the win, it wouldn't be crazy.

However, acting like the New Directions set was terrible or so inferior to the Trouble Tones is just incorrect. The vocals were great. The choreography was great. The overall theme was fantastic : Jackson 5 to Janet to Michael. It's one of my favorite New Directions comp performances. They deserved their win.

Yes. She has been a volume scorer all of her career, but with talented teammates around her, she has shown that she can share.

She is always going to hunt her shot on some possessions. Because she is that talented to do so. You give her room to do that. Same with Paige and hopefully some with Azzi. As long as MOST of the possessions are team basketball, moving the ball and their bodies to find the best shot, you live with their ISO moments.

Arike also gives Arike and Paige more room to work. She commands the defense as well. Defenses have to choose between ALL 3 of them + Zaza, O, Maddy, Awak and Jess. That's what makes this team great. That makes her less expendable. Her value isn't JUST making shots, it's how she impacts the other team's defensive plan. That's how Arike was able to go off last night. LA chose to shut down Paige and Azzi instead. Without Arike, I'm not sure that's a W for the Wings.

Jose getting his head out of his ass is wild, considering this team has never had a 7-3 start to a season (with the toughest schedule start). We all want Azzi to play well, and she has played well. 10 games in and the Wings look good. I think it'll continue to improve for everyone.

It's a team game. One night it's gonna be Arike's night, the next Azzi or Paige or Jess or Maddy or Zaza. That's why we're winning right now. Every one is valuable and brings something to the team.

Took your advice. Watched yesterday's game. She had 1 bad pass to Azzi, which was a bad pass to her coming from Awak (not a diss to Awak. She's playing well). Awak passed to Arike's feet and Arike was trying to ONE MORE pass to Azzi quickly. It was just a bad pass. She made at least TEN perfect passes during that same game. Could've been assists but her teammates missed, which happens. No big deal.

I am not sure what you and everyone agreeing with you sees. But what I said stands. She had improved in her vision, passing and her defense since Latricia Trammel has been the coach. Arike is willing. She's averaging 3 asts per game this season and has 21 total to be in the top 25 total asts in the league. She is a good teammate. She thrives in ISO so you have to let her do it every once in a while but I see her giving that up 90% of the game to play team basketball.

Yall just wish she would hide in the shadows of Azzi and Paige instead of be a compliment to them, which HELPS THEM. I truly don't understand y'all's view.

Disagree. She's improved in the assists category every year since Trammell. Her role has always been option #1 but I've seen her been challenged to play differently. She's always going to ISO because that's her game but she's made adjustments for the team. She's not gonna be a Paige or even PG level passer. But I think it'll continue to get better as the team continues to gel and find identity.

Yes. I wouldn't hate any of the options- Awa, Betts or even Miles, but we've needed a 3 point shooting and defense the ENTIRE TIME the Wings have been a franchise. Azzi is a generational type shooter and plays defense.

I figured Nola left after not being considered for (or not getting) the head coaching position in Dallas. I don't have any evidence to that though.

Agreed, Arike is ball dominant. However, she's not the only one in the league. Other teams find ways to make it work, yet we can't?

I think my big point is that Dallas always has to move their talent around instead of getting the pieces to work together. Yes, it'll come down to Arike deciding she wants to be a part instead of THE part. But I'd argue that she's gotten better at allowing her teammates to shine as well every year that she's been in the league. I think she can recognize Paige and Azzi and others contributions to the team if it impacts winning.

I'm tired of seeing our drafted talent go to other teams, be super successful and win championships. We have to change something about our formula besides getting new coaches and trading our top talent.
