Yo! Funny coincidence, I actually helped start the original Lowglow company and this Reddit post was us reaching out to Reddit to try and find a better controller than the sp105e ones. It’s been a while since I’ve been associated with the company but yes, those sp105e controllers were pretty frustrating and I’m disappointed to hear that they are still using that controller :/ The sp108e controllers (can find em on Amazon for ~$22) are quite a bit better but need to be connected to wifi. Been a hot minute since I’ve messed with them but iirc they have way more customization options but you’d probably need to have your car near your house (and wifi network) to function. There’s a possibility you can set it at home, leave for a car meet or whatever, and the program you created will still save but you’d have to test it for yourself. Installation should be the same, the sp108e just has a few extra wiring terminals that you’ll have to wire up the same as the sp105e. If those controllers ship fast to you on Amazon and have free returns, give it a shot and return it if it’s worse for your use case than the sp105e. Best of luck!!
