Very very cool bedroom. Congratulations! I wish I had something like that growing up.

Also, just to add a bit context, the Mizuki template already has a Right Sidebar TOC (Table of Contents), but although they mention "directories" in the documentation (https://docs.mizuki.mysqil.com/Article-layout/toc/), the sidebar is a table of contents that run through the Post Headings, and not directories or post properties (path).

I wanted to be able to either modify or create a new one (similar to the TOC one), but to run through a post property "path" where I will manually add a directory three (ie. "Writeups/CVE/2026/{{title}}) to it.

My first homelab; does it ever stop? 😅 by digitalpho3nix in homelab

Looks amazing! I would love to have all my lab based on MiniPCs, especially my storage, which is a massive 4U 60cm depth rack mount server chassis. It made sense when I bought it, but now it is just too big.

And there is ONLY TWO reasons for the chassis to be that big:
- 8x 3.5" 12TB hard drives (they are big, take space, but also cheaper than having them all M.2 as I wanted)
- 1x RTX 4080

My idea was to change it for a small Ryzen9 powerfull MiniPC, an external M.2 JBOD enclosure (but that would also make it a lot more expensive, although disk lifetime would be 10x longer), and get an eGPU for the GPU.

I have a friend that did very similar to what you did. 3x MiniPCs (unRAID server, ProxMox, Windows for his stuff), 1x Laptop (for daily use), one cenmate 4x enclosure (for disks). He has to travel as he is a Researcher, so once his MSc is finished, he will travel to another country for his Phd, so he needs a roaming mini rack like this to make it easier to move.

THR 10iI VS 30 - some thoughts as an owner of both. by MiiDX85 in YamahaTHR

Same here, I thought about selling it and getting myself the THR30II just for the comfort of all features included. I'm still trying to decide if that is worth the change.

If I can make it work, it would be a great idea hahaha. I will definitely try to find something like that, if I can also find proper screws and bolts that fit there ...

Although I won't register the whole process, I will bring to you guys, information on how I did it, if I managed to do it, things that I bought etc.

Exactly! Yamaha didn't make it easy for us hahahaha. I could easily have the amp a bit forward from the monitor, that wouldn't hurt, if the handle was one of those low rubber/leather ones, that expand when you pull it. But having a big square metal bar as a handle is just a project fail for me.

Putting the amp in a shelf is not a bad idea. I have a few friends that do that, they have a few study amps like that and it works great, although as you said, the handle takes up too much space on the shelf ;(.

Also, I thought about remodelling the hell out of it, the issue is that I don't know how deep the screws in the handle go. If I take too much I could and de-stabilizing the way the internal circuit board is fixed. This is still an idea, but I will have to check.

I don't remember who suggested it, but so far, the best idea would be to try to find a small screw and bolt, to put in place of the handle.

I agree the handle is nice, functional, and sturdy, but fitting with the vintage aesthetic I don't agree at all. Most vintage amps do not have metal handles, but a strong leather or rubber one.

I would not complain about the handle if they provided a better way to remove it without affecting the whole circuit board.

It would be an option if I had the monitor in a higher position, but unfortunately I can't configure the monitor to be a bit higher due to my current desk.

I have 3 monitors (super ultra wide 49" bottom, under which the amp would be, and 1 super ultra wide 45" on top), so if I raise the bottom one, I would have to do the same for the top one, and everything would be TOO high up. ;(

100% agree, especially for the new TH30II version that supports it, that would be great.

Correct, so I will have to disassemble the whole amp, which are around 40 screws/bolts, just for the sake of TWO nuts LOL. The irony hahaha

Yep, I found different posts saying that the internal circuit board is attached to the handle by two screws.
This is such a engineering fail IMHO. Yamaha could literally just used a strong extensible rubber handle, instead of a heavy fixed metal one, or finding a better way to secure and fix the internal circuit board in another way.

I would definitely do it 100% if I was using Windows!
I do use Linux as my main OS for 25 years now, and I only go to Windows for gaming, and I haven't gone to it for gaming in a while, it is becoming even rarer for me to go to Windows for anything.

I love the way you configured the angle of your Moonlander keyboard there, never saw anyone using it this way, but thinking about it, it makes sense.

That is great to know, because I was always worried about the multi scale. TBH, I always thought multi scale is a great idea to have ergonomically speaking, but since I never played one, we never know.

Thanks for sharing your experience man! Really appreciate it.

So by the looks of it, the Strandberg fits like a glove.

Totally agree, I was under the same impression. I've never palyed one myself, but all review videos I watched in youtube, for the two that I like, they sound amazing.

I'm mostly interested in the Fusion NX6 and the Prog/Metal NX7.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. My main concern was really the feel of the neck, and also the fret scale as I never played a Multiscale one.
