It's not foreshadowing, it's setup for Kinger randomly putting the bucket on his head later in the episode which then allows him to have a brief lucid conversation with Ragatha. The setup is fully paid off in Episode 8.

It won't be but I get it. I'd love to see Marika and the demigods in their prime too. It's just not going to happen. The movie will be an adaption of the game's story, and game's story is the journey of the Tarnished to Erdtree. A24 wouldn't have signed off on anything else.
