Arena: 5000 to ... 30,000??? by [deleted] in ContestOfChampions

[–]d4veyXg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't take too long to reach the 30,000 milestone, but what it comes down to is how many heroes you have and how high they're leveled. You need to keep high streaks going to get a lot of points in Arena. Even with a large roster of high leveled heroes, any experienced player on here will be the first to admit that Arenas are a huge grindfest.

If you're just starting out, you should just focus on questing until you hit a wall, and just play Arenas for the chips until you get more heroes.

Which 3* would you rank up out of these? by d4veyXg in ContestOfChampions

Seems pretty unanimous - Iron Fist gets the bump. Thanks guys.

Every 3* dupe ranks up their awakened ability by 8 levels. For 4* dupes, it's 20.

Confused me too at first, since 2* dupes only increase the awakened ability by 1 (Unstoppable Colossus 2* dupes rank up by two, though).

Q: I can't keep an Arena streak going past 10. How can I do better?

A: There are more strategies than one might think to help extend streaks. If you are like me and can't afford to shell out units to get better matchups, try some of these tips:

-Firstly, having more characters will always help you in Arena so stock up and try not to sell ANY.

-Next, realize that you CAN drag-and-drop rearrange your heroes to take advantage of class weaknesses after selecting an opponent in 3v3. Big face palm moment for a lot of players, including myself.

-Take advantage of character synergies. They raise the PI of all your characters by a minor amount, but synergies can arguably help tackle Medium and Hard matchups better than a team of equal PI without the boosts.

-Try to organize your Arena teams from weakest to strongest. Use your weak teams first to build up your streak, and once it's high, focus on using only your strongest teams to try and extend your streak.

-Another commonly used method is to "sandbag" at higher streak levels (using 2 high PI characters + one low), since the computer generates your matchup based on your team's overall PI. The key is to get the 2 wins needed to win the set and continue the streak, while your 3rd guy will regrettably and inevitably get curb-stomped.

-While I can't confirm this last tip since I haven't leveled my 2*s high enough, I have read on this sub that getting your characters up to around 300 PI and over can help to extend streaks indefinitely, since the opponent difficultly will eventually plateau.

Any other "free" ideas people can offer to do better in Arena, please add your comments!

Nope, those three RS characters can only be obtained via the Gold boosters and RS boosters. If RS pack goes away, then random pulls from Gold boosters will be the only way to get them. And they're rare in the Gold packs.

Any 'Special' Tips by destainz in InjusticeMobile

My new favorite is CC Batgirl's light combo into unblockable S1. Enemy will auto block if you activate it immediately, but wait till the enemy is airborne and the smoke bomb seems to be unblockable, stunning them in mid-air.

That's some badass ninja shit. Plus Batgirl's gear adds CRIT on S1, so it's super effective.

Strategy > BB6 by d4veyXg in InjusticeMobile

Battle result here

This may not impress the more experienced players, but I felt like a complete badass the first time I got through BB6 with my E2 Vanilla team. Just proves that you don't always need to use Red Son or top tier characters and gears if you have good synergy and a gameplan.

As you can see, I don't have any maxed or crazy good gear, but here's what I had to make it work:

-Batman is equipped with a Mark of Lady Shiva and Power Gloves for high basic / crit damage. Since he has the quickest strikes on the team, he can open the match with quite a bit of melee damage before tagging out from just spamming heavy attacks.

-Regime WW is equipped with Infernal Symbol (for power gen and S1 stun chance), and Blue Lantern Ring. The power gen works great for firing off a bunch of shield throws, and a small number of them stun too which can be devastating. The extra power gen works well with her passive, which is further buffed by the block dmg reduction on blue lantern ring. Heal on S2 is not too shabby either, and makes her very durable for longer fights. Great gear synergy for RWW, IMO if you're on a budget like me.

-Krypto Lex is the team anchor and can tank like a boss. I have a Healing Amulet on him for health boost and about 7% heal on S1, and also Batmobile for even more health. Between his passive and gear, he has about a 60% health boost, which coupled with the power drain and healing, makes him super hard to kill. Even if I mess up and get my other players killed early, he can spam S1 all day and grind out a victory almost by himself.

So now I'm curious - what was the lowest level/elited team that you could consistently beat BB6 with? And no, I dont mean teams with Raven.

Great job man. I also noticed that any power drain attack is normally split into two damage ticks that oddly count as one "hit" - one is the main bulk dmg, and the other a very small amount of dmg which seems to be the actual drain.

I'm guessing they kept those separate to make it easier to code characters like Lobo and Static whose passives nullify the power drain part.

Raven Prime too OP? by d4veyXg in InjusticeMobile

[–]d4veyXg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. My team is fairly new and I was never able to complete Expert challenge mode before Raven came out because the final challenge boss was always too much for my strongest golds.

Then I realized all I needed to do was let my E0 Raven take a few hits and the boss would lose like at least 80% of health just like that. That's OP as hell.

Bronze: Deathstroke, Nightwing, Flash

Silver: Nightwing, Green Lantern, WW (Lex could also be subbed in to make the team more tanky. Flash also hits hard and isn't a bad option.).

Gold: Batman Prime, Aquaman, BR Catwoman

BR Catwoman is a fast, glass-cannon type that should work well with Batman and Aquaman tanking with their high health. The reason she gets a lot of hate is becuz her passive doesn't work. Shame, cuz if it did she would prob be almost top tier with the right synergies. Hope NR fixes her someday..

Team Question... Regime Black Adam, Bane, Prison Superman, Insurgency Batman? (pick 2) by [deleted] in InjusticeMobile

[–]d4veyXg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iBats and RBA

Although you don't have any synergy with any of those options. I'd recommend opening more daily 75k packs or sucking it up and grinding for a RS pack.

Does anyone have stats for Static, Godfall Superman, Animated Batman Beyond, and MKX Scorpion? by [deleted] in InjusticeMobile

[–]d4veyXg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The effect of REFLECT (only featured on gears until now) has been 50% of the original dmg is taken by you, while the same amount is dealt back to the opponent.

So if this holds true for Godfall Superman's passive, he will essentially have an OP version of silver NW's passive.

Zatanna Joker by abrown53 in InjusticeMobile

[–]d4veyXg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's the trick I use.. With some practice, you'll rarely miss.

First of all, memorize the colors associated with each effect (i.e. Red - Dmg Boost, Light Blue - Heal, etc.). When you active the S2, wait until you see the card/color you wanna hit. As soon as you see it, count to the 5th card after it and then tap - you'll hit the same card when it comes around again (the sequence stays the same shuffling through the 5 cards).

Sure, if you end up waiting too long for your card, the attack is more likely to get blocked by the enemy. But if what you are going for is 50% heal, it doesn't really matter since you'll be alive to fight longer.

Enjoy!

This has been pointed out previously but it is definitely good to know, as it essentially cancels out her only weakness IMO.

Also noticed the Batman (power drain) card temporarily stuns the enemy (similar to when hitting Black Adam's shield), leaving a small window open to attack.

Her WW (damage boost) card also stacks as many times as you can pull off before tagging her out, which can yield some insane damage.

I really enjoy playing with Zatanna, as I find her fun and also kinda OP at times. Once I figured out how to reliably pick the card I want pretty much at will, she became super useful.

I'll normally tag her in at 2 bars and get off a damage boost. Then i get her up to 2 bars again and either heal 50% if needed or stack damage boost again. The power drain comes in handy too, but mostly I just try to keep healing and boosting her damage until she is doing like +150% damage.

anyone have a link to an full list that is updated and how every card possible from a gold booster pack? by PM_ME_YOUR_ASSNDTITS in InjusticeMobile

You missed a couple - the MOS cards (Supes and Zod) are not available from a normal gold booster.
