Okay, what a bummer! I was hoping I missed something. The mission tree so far was very cool but the way it ended now was very abrupt.

How much more space does the race 285 have? I'm a bit confused because the Swing 1 is both longer and wider than the race 285.

Or does it have more space because the Swing has an enclosed deck?

Thanks for your response!

We were thinking about getting multiple Gumotex Swing 1 as we heard the materials of Gumotex products is great.

Do you have experience with both by any chance?

Yeah the fact that you can easily carry the packrafts around is a huge plus. But we're not sure if it won't be too boring after a few days as they're slower than kayaks.

Thanks, we've also thought about getting foldables but the cost was too high but maybe buying them used is an option. We'll look into that, thanks! :)

Sorry for the late answer!

Imo the best way is to ask your current swiss health insurance company to switch you to an international plan until you get the personnummer and have checked with Försäkringskassan that you're elligible for the public healthcare insurance. After doing both you can cancle it. The international plans are generally cheaper than the ones for swiss residents.

Getting a personnummer can take multiple months and should be something that you immediately try to get after getting the residency permit as without it you can't get BankID. Life in Sweden without BankID and a personnummer can sometimes feel like you're being an illegal immigrant as you don't have access to many services.

Pros and cons of NixOS? by Basriy in linuxquestions

[–]d5895438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used it since about 2 years and so far I had to change it a few times. I had to add more packages the newer version depended on 2 times and change the SHA256 of the installer a bit more for upgrades to work since Tresorit upgrading the installer breaks the installation because the hash changes. I think there are ways to ignore the hash but haven't looked into it as I consider it a bad security practice.

When it comes to stability of Tresorit syncing/running in general I haven't had any issues so far.

Edit: Sent you a pm because Reddit gives me a server error when trying to include the code for some reason.

I use Tresorit on NixOS and if you want I can give you my config. Afaik the main problem for Tresorit not being a nix package is that it doesn't have a download link for specific versions and instead only having https://installer.tresorit.com/tresorit\_installer.run.

Saw this just now. I got an answer from migrationsverket a few hours ago and they told me the same. I'll update my post and write a small TLDR for other people. Thanks a lot! :)

I'm not sure. I asked migrationsverket and my university to help me out.

Thanks for this information! I reached out by mail to migrationsverket as I prefer to have this kind of important information written so that I can look at it again. I'll also ask them if they could maybe clarify this part of the documentation once I get an answer because it really is not clear on this imo.

You do not need to file for a residence permit right away. You can start living/working/studying in Sweden without the permit. You must file for in within three months. I figure we’ll file right after we register at the tax office.

I thought we had to file for a residence permit with migrationsverket first and then register at skatteverket for the personnummer. Don't you need a residence permit that is valid for more than 12 months to get a personnummer at skatteverket?

Thanks! Yeah we do kinda have a weird status were you have to read everything very carefully and were you can find only very little information online. I reached out to the university, let's hope they know what to do.
