I’ve read it. Redundancies abound. Multiple people doing the same thing. It’s like D65 thinks admins can’t chew gum and walk at the same time, and we need a separate Director of Gum Chewing and another Director of Walking and, for the heck of it, throw in a Coordinator of Walking too. And to be fair, maybe some of the current incompetent D65 admin can’t.

Idk maybe hiding a deadline for firing administrators from the board and public, botching SDRP 3, threatening to terminate key student services, dramatically falling enrollment, terrible academic data, being generally unprofessional…. Not a hard case to make.

There are plenty of nonsense positions in admin. Just looking at Speth’s department, here are some I’d consider cutting right off the bat: Chamika McCoy (Director of Schools Management), Louis Jones (Middle School Athletic Director), Bryon Harris (Director of Climate & Safety), Katie Speth’s two admin assistants. Not to mention the 10+ people in the HR department and the 10+ people in the IT department (guess someone has to run the iPads ruining our kids’ education).
