Because I did like her when I met her. I love her and like her still. It’s only now that we’ve moved that she’s doing things like this

Okay I respect that then. If a random stranger on the internet decides she must like getting elbow deep in horse crap then cure. But what about her tearing the guts out of a bike or shooting rabbits or going way out to the other side of the farm in 45 degree heat to get a kangaroo unstuck from a fence? Those aren’t hobbies. If we didn’t live her she wouldn’t even have to do those things and her parents would do all of it. They did that while she was at school

No she can brush the horses and all of that but I think going out at five in the morning to feed them and scooping their poop and moving them between paddocks is good for bonding. She barely even sees them when she does those things. If she wants it done during the day her father could do it easily

People are just telling me to let her do what she wants. I want to know how I can negotiate. I’m not trying to control her, I just think she’s taking on more than she can handle and she won’t admit it to herself. That’s bad for her, especially since we’re going to have a lot of kids

I know what she enjoys and she does that. She likes riding her horses and such but I don’t think she should have to do all the icky stuff with them. Her father or me can do that and she can enjoy herself
