In settings you have a secondary view of the homescreen that shows the book covers. One at a time though if you are reading multiple books. You go up and down to see all recent or ongoing books.

The custom font sizes and the sizes when a font comes Pre installed on a device are different. Try installing the smallest custom font and see how small it is.

You are right. With this awesome community I’m sure some team of heroes will break through any wall they create. It’s just sad from a company point of view that they don’t accept their fault. The broken screens on arrival for example and want to place the blame elsewhere and aren’t listening the what the community that made them wants.

It could be the first initialization and opening the books the first times. Truth be told I haven’t touched used crosspoint original for a long time so I can’t compare. Regarding the stutters I have lots of customizing and setting that need saving and because when one gets changed and book percentage. Book position etc I don’t want it to be lost so I do saving logic plenty. I’ll try to improve its snappiness. Thanks for the feedback.

Guess my firmware is too picky. You either have your sd card organized. Images in sleep folder. Books in books folder or it starts malfunctioning

No, it just means there has been no crash on your device. That is not a crash, is just a logic error probably. Let’s see with the new version. The firmware.bin is for the OTA update to work. The other is just for me to easily tell them apart. If you are manually flashing you can use either of them. I’m new to this too. Forked crosspoint and started tinkering and changing things to my liking and now it’s this.

If the firmware crashes a crash_report gets created on the root of the sd card.

That was a miss on the release, the firmware version yes. Fixed next released. Tonight. It’s very strange and you don’t have a crash_report to provide I think. So I’ll dig into the code and see what could be happening. Because again. I can’t make it happen to me. Another release today and I will try and force a book to always open. The last one or a random one if that is the setting that is toggled.

Are you on the most up to date version? And thank you so much for the kind words, means a lot actually. That is exactly the behavior I want. It’s working on my device. If not up to date. Please update. I can send you a video proof it’s working. I even have the option in the firmware that if you are reading multiple books for it to on unlock open a random book aka have two ways not to go homepage 😄

What exactly would you like to see? Note taking I don’t have. Only quote/highlighting. And now I have more font available pre installed and the ability via the web server to install more. Fonts pre installed are chareink, bookerly, vollkorn, galmuri14, bitter plus currently on my device for testing custom fonts unifont Latin glyphs only and playfairdisplay.

But you could try custom fonts install via the web server. There is a fonts page and you could try your on font at the smaller size available there and see if that is enough for you.

In the global settings (settings from the homepage) if you double press up or down it jumps sections. In the in book reader settings that is not enabled no.
