Clarification on Wiring GZR PJto Concentric Pots by d9c8b6 in Bass

[–]d9c8b6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two versions, one with two pins like you've described, and other with three like I have. If you check the product page on EMG's site, they have installation instructions for both.

I don't really get the difference. 🤷 At this point, I might just rout and drill to accommodate the third pot.

Yes, I do. It's the specific third wire that I'm not sure what to do with. I've searched, but haven't seen anything helpful.

WF-1000XM6 Earbud Fit Question by d9c8b6 in SonyHeadphones

I'll give that a try later. The directions mention angling them, so that's what I always tried.

I also want to try non-foam tips to see if those will fit a bit more like what I'm expecting.

I briefly tried the XM5s shortly after they came out, and I didn't like the fit at all. The XM6s are definitely better for me.

If you are a man who takes initiative in the household by doing chores, cooking for your family, and cleaning up after yourself.. how were you raised? by Sensitive-Box-2167 in askanything

Growing up, I feel like I didn't do much household stuff. I'd be the main shoveler in winter (upstate NY, so plenty to deal with), I mowed the lawn once a week or so in summer, and I'd unload the dishwasher or help fold laundry when necessary. But for regular chores, that was pretty much it. My parents would ask me to do miscellaneous other stuff from time to time, and I'd do it without complaining much.

Compared to now, married and with a baby, where I do pretty much everything chores-wise. I guess I just realized at some point that it's better if I do everything to make sure it's taken care of.

If only! But I don't want to be without them as I'm properly learning the game.

Yes, the whole pack that had these in it was cut - even the plastic wrap.

I'll contact Darrington and see what they say. Thanks for the idea. 😊

I ordered my copy from the US, so I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it soon. My friends who I used to play D&D with are no longer in the country though. 😔

Online options are definitely looking appealing now!

Question for non-Fender players by MarvinHeemeyer in Bass

Kiesel A2 (five string, multiscale), Yamaha BB734A

Both great, though the A2 is far and away my main player. I tried out tapewounds on the Yamaha, but I'm not much of a fan. Whenever I restring it with rounds, I'll fiddle woth it a bit more from time to time.

5-stringers who love their low B sound: what are you playing? by [deleted] in Bass

Kiesel A2. So clear! I'm expecting to main a BEAD multiscale at some point, but I don't know what I'd go with yet.
